As a qualified Counsellor and coming from a genuine place of understanding and empathy, due to my own life experiences, in which I myself, sought counselling, I can assure you I am passionate about my work and offer effective support to others on their journey.
I offer all new clients a free 20 minute consultation, prior to the commencement of any paid sessions, to build trust and rapport, assess our fit, clarify goals and expectations and reduce any anxiety. This, in turn, will improve outcomes from sessions.
I have many years of experience in the mental health industry, being trained by and working within charitable organisations, behaviour regulation within schools, working in Peer Mental Health and supporting students within my capacity as a School Counsellor.
Memberships – I am an Accredited Member of ACCPH, as such I adhere to their Ethical Framework/Conditions of Membership. I also hold a Current Enhanced DBS Certification.
I have worked within schools/alternative provision/Pupil Referral Units - SEN/SEMH pupils around Emotional Regulation and Challenging Behaviour's. I hold experience as a Play Therapist and School Counsellor, supporting pupils of all ages, parent’s and teaching staff.
